EC PRO incompatible with Advanced Layout Editor (Enfold Theme)

If I activate EC PRO, I can’t use the advanced layout editor when creating posts and pages. The button goes dead. If I deactivate EC PRO, all is good again.

I deactivated all plugins, emptied the cache and tested 2017 theme. Activating and deactivating EC PRO is clearly the difference.

Thanks for reaching out. I will try to help you with this if I can.

Can you tell me what the name of the plugin is that adds the “advanced layout editor?” And to clarify, there are no other issues with TEC Pro when that plugin is not activated?

I have seen quite a few incompatibilities with the Enfold theme. We cannot guarantee our products to work with every theme or plugin out there, but we use WordPress standards and best practices as a guide to make them compatible with as many things as possible.

That being said, we’re open to seeing what incompatibilities there are, and if there’s anything we can do to help from our end, we’re happy to try.

Can you take post a screenshot of any errors that are showing in your browser console on one of the pages where you are seeing this issue? This would be a good starting point. Also, was this working for you with previous versions of TEC Pro? If so, can you tell me what version it stops working? You can download previous versions of our plugins from your downloads page.
