EC Pro as a booking plugin to make reservations?

Good morning – we are a neighborhood community that needs a new plugin for residents to reserve the clubhouse and tennis courts by timeslots. Someone very smart in our community suggested EC Pro could be our solution but it seems to be an event calendar more than booking/reservations plugin?

For our tennis courts, registered residents should be able to choose which of the 3 tennis courts they want to reserve and specify start and end time by 30-minutes timeslots. All these reservations are free. For our clubhouse, we charge by the hour and reservations can be 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours or the whole day. So registered residents should be able to reserve those times and then be taken to Paypal to pay and returned to the site.

Are all those features possible (simultaneously on one site) with Events Calendar Pro? Thank you so much.

Hey there and thanks for getting in touch!

You are absolutely right: our plugins are not the best fit for booking and appointments and more suited for events and ticketing. I really wish we offered a solution for you here, but I honestly do not think our plugins are the right thing for you based on your needs.

That said, there are a few great WordPress booking plugins out there. Here are a handful I was able to find with a fairly quick search:

• Booking Ultra Pro Appointment Calendar
