easy view of FULL calendar

hi, i just can’t seem to figure out how to display a simple page where someone can see ALL of my event/ticket categories at one glance, with all of the dates available for the whole year listed/displayed under each category.

basically what is the easiest way to get a client to see all of the types of courses listed in chronological order on a single page

oh and is there a way to color code the categories so they can be visually distinguishable?

You can use the tribe_events shortcode in a page to show a list of events for a specific category. For example, the following shortcode will show the events with a category of “barbacue” in a list calendar view:

[tribe_events view="list" category="barbecue"]

As for coloring the categories, I’d recommend The Events Calendar Category Colors plugin  https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar-category-colors/ which is maintained by a 3rd party, and not officially part of our company. However, it is a very useful plugin, and one of our staff members maintains it independently.

thank you for the color coding
i greatly appreciate that.
if i may…

i have a few other issues
currently the calendar view is monday to sunday
i prefer to have the calnedale display sunday to saturday
see attachment

1) how can i increase the font pointed to with yellow arrow
2) how can i increase the width of the dialog box so that it shows the whole title for event category
3) how can i list one event category per line pointed to with the red arrow? it looks too sloppy in this display

Glad to know that plugin works for you 🙂

i prefer to have the calnedale display sunday to saturday

You can change this by navigating to your WP Admin > Settings > General and select Sunday for the Week Starts On setting.

There is no built-in options to change those specific parts of the calendar. However, you can change the look and feel of your calendar views by using one of the methods described in our Themer’s Guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
