Easiest way to change theme color?

I´m running enfold theme and using your calendar.
But what is the easiest way to get the calendar to get the same colors as my theme? I surely can’t be to edit the css files, that way I have to edit them each time I get a new version.
Enfold has an option to add quick css, so maybe I could use that?
More specifically I wanna change the default #30799B color to the enfold theme color #719430

Hi runekjensen, you probably will need to do some work with CSS to achieve this, however you definitely don’t need to (and should not) edit core CSS files.

If your theme offers a mechanism for adding CSS then there is certainly no harm in trying that first, otherwise I’d recommend adding a custom tribe-events.css stylesheet – you can find further details about doing this in our Themer’s Guide.

Ok I will look into that.
But it seems very hard and I don’t see why you couldn’t just add a color picker, or a theme picker, as I have a hard time imagining a lot of people wanting to use that kind a blue, and therefore would like to change it.
Considering the price of this product I would think it was made easier

What I would point out though is the number of different settings we could add is almost infinite and will never cater for the needs of everyone (what about font selectors –  and if we added them which fonts should they allow you to choose from? Should we allow every element we add to be styled, or just some? … etc). Large numbers of setting pages can also add a level of confusion for many users – so it can be a tricky balancing act.

That to say, please do post a feature request but understand also that there really does need to be a good reason and a notable level of interest from users across the community, which is one of the great things about UserVoice – other users can show their support for your idea 🙂

Right now I’m not sure there is much else we can offer on this one so I’ll go ahead and close the thread.
