Duplicating

Hi There:

I have installed The Events Calendar on two different websites. They will have the exact same events, and I had purchased the iCal importer because I thought I could export from one website’s Events Calendar and then upload an ics file in order to not have to do twice the work by adding the same event to BOTH website.

I’d like to cut out having to create the same event twice one for http://www.v3aesthetics.com and then have to create it again for http://www.v3fit.com.

I have tried every URL and ics file that I can download/think of from each site and try to import all of the events into the other calendar, but no such luck. Is there a way to have the same calendar/events on two different websites using iCal importer, or The Events Calendar in general?

I’d like to refrain from having people leave each of the sites through a redirect as I want to keep them on the appropriate site.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hi Patricia. Thanks for your question.

If I read your question correctly, it sounded like you already tried the setup you’re wanting. If so, could you please detail it here (e.g. iCal link you’re trying to use, the 2 sites you’re trying to connect and which one’s the source and which one’s the receiver of the other’s events — screenshots of your settings, etc)

I wonder if maybe the issue is that you’re trying to import events from an iCal file that only includes this month’s events in the iCal file. If that is the issue, you might want to customize it so it includes more events:
