Duplicating event does not give ownership to new Author, so they cannot edit

    Hi. I have created events as as admin to let Authors or Contributors use as templates to duplicate for ease of learning.

    However, when they create the duplicate event its ownership remains with me, so they cannot edit it.

    It would make more sense if the person duplicating the event became the owner / author.

    Is there a way around this behaviour?

    How specifically are you going about duplicating the events? That might reveal some more information about this issue.
