Custom post types allow us to have duplicate slugs without those ugly numbers at the end of the categories categoryname-1 if categoryname exists for example… I noticed that tribe events calendar interferes with normal post types and thus causes -1-2-3 issue at the end of the url…

    For example:
    If I make http://dev.holiday.ge/gold/events/category/tbilisi/
I’m forced to use tbilisi-2 in normal post category: http://dev.holiday.ge/gold/category/tbilisi-2/

How is it possible to fix this? Again I repeat custom post types and their categories should be separate from the rest and don’t give this kind of behaviour.

    Ty,
    S.

    Hi Sandro,

This is not the behavior I’m seeing in my setup. Are you sure you’re using Event Categories through the plugin and not native WordPress categories? Please also try deactivating all other plugins to rule out any other plugin conflicting with ours.

    Thanks,
