Dollar Sign ($) in title is not displayed on next and previous links

‘$2.50 pint night’ looks like:
« .50 pint night
‘$500 test $4.00’ looks like:
« 0 test .00

I can put the ascii code for a dollar sign in the title, and it works just fine until I update or edit the event, then it returns to ‘$’ and disappears on the links.

Sorry to see you’re hitting difficulties here.

Unfortunately I am not sure I can replicate this – perhaps you could provide a URL for us to look at in case that yields any interesting clues? If I add a dollar sign to the start of one of my event titles using an installation with just our plugins and a default theme there is no problem here (ignore the actual titles etc which were generated at random so seem somewhat nonsensical):

Could there be a conflict with another plugin/your theme in this case and have you tried disabling them?
