doesn't work with wordpress.com sites???

I am very, very new at this but I just bought the Calendar PRO and following instructions to install – on my wordpress.com site and there it says “Your site comes pre-installed with a wide variety of plugins. Uploading your own plugins is not available on WordPress.com”
I need to back out of all this work I’ve done and do some more research obviously. Is there a customer service area I can go to and try to get a refund? I only purchased about an hour ago.
