    Hi! I’ve got a pre-sales question:

Our client wants to offer event booking using his existing WooCommerce shop. We are evaluating your Tickets plugin in conjunction with The Events Calendar. Those events take place in various countries with differing VAT rates.

=> Does WooCoomerce’s built-in VAT functionality apply to Tickets?

(Rationale: We need to be able to accept orders from people who use VAT IDs to subtract the VAT from the end price, so and if the answer to the question above is “yes,” then those plugins should work.)

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Thanks for the interest in WooCommerce Tickets. The WooCommerce tax system does work with tickets. However, it does not display the VAT tax on the ticket form where people can add tickets to the cart. It is possible to modify that form to show, but it is not a feature we have right now.

We do offer 30 day refund period so if you purchase and it does not work the way you would like you can request one.

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Thanks

    Great, hope it works out.

If not you can email us within 30 days with the order number to [email protected] and request a refund.

I am going to close this ticket, but if you need anything else related to this topic or another please post a new topic on the forum and we can help you out.

    Thanks
