Does the rest api support event creation

Hi,

This question has been asked and answered recently, but it seems the response may not be accurate. If a POST request is made to create a new event, the ID is a required field. This seems to imply that there must be an existing post. Attempting to use the endpoint returns an error that the id is invalid.

After digging into the actual API I believe that this is a problem with the Swagger documentation. There is a call – /tribe/events/v1/events – which supports POST but it is not documented, only the version requiring the id field is.
