Does the iCal Importer import X-properties such as an external URL

Hi – I am using this plugin to import events from the Altru platform by Blackbaud. There is a property in the feed called “X-TICKETS-URL” that I would like to import, which is basically an external link to the event. Does this plugin support the importing of these types of x-properties? Ideally, I would like to save this URL to the WP backend and then replace the permalink on the front-end with this external URL. Any tips on how to best implement this? Thanks in advance for your help.

Sorry for the delay here we are backed up due to an illness and jury duty for a couple members on the support team.

Thanks for the interest in the iCal Importer we do not import that field or any x fields just the standard iCal Fields.

Hi Brian – thanks for the reply. Do you know of a way that I could modify the plugin’s code to import this field? Either in the plugin files themselves or my theme files? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I am sure there is a way to modify it, but it would have to be in the plugin files themselves so you would have to make the changes after every update or fork the plugin.

I am not able to provide much more on customizations like this unfortunately and can only support the features we ship with.
