Does the Eventbrite Add-On integrate with WordPress membership system?

Would the Eventbrite add-on able to distinguish between a member/registered user w/ certain role vs. a guest/non-member with no role assigned?

Most of our events have different pricing for members and non-members. Using Eventbrite has been difficult for us, since it’s hard to distinguish members and non-members

Hi Eric,

The Eventbrite add-on doesn’t have anything that would recognize members vs non-members. It strictly ports information to/from Eventbrite. Any membership management would have to be done on the WordPress side, and our add-on doesn’t add that on. 🙂

I’m not certain, but perhaps you’d want to look at the Easy Digital Downloads tickets and that ecosystem of extensions. I believe they have ways to distinguish between members and non-members, but I can’t say that I’m familiar with the specifics.
