Does temporary fix for submitted events status effect updated events?

Hi guys. As far as I can tell, the temporary fix that Casey shared for setting the default status of submitted events also effects when a user updates/edits their events. That is, if the user updates a published event, it’s status reverts to what we have set in that snippet. Can someone confirm this?

If so, I actually would keep this function on my site after the fix is released since I’d prefer to review any updates user’s make to their events after they are initially published.

Hi,

Yes I just tested the coding and it does change the status back to pending on a user re-editing the Event.

So if that is what you are looking to do, even after the fix comes out in the next version you can keep the coding.
