Does Facebook Events need the Pro version?

Do I need to buy Event Calendar?

Hey Orlando,

To use the Events Calendar and the Facebook events add-on, you will need to download the core plugin, which is called “The Events Calendar”, here → https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/

That is completely free and always will be.

After installing that, you can then purchase the Facebook Events add-on, but you do not need to buy any other add-ons, including “Events Calendar PRO”.
