Does Events Calendar plugin work with JamSession theme?

I’m developing a website using the JamSession theme (available at Themeforest) that already has an Event functionality built in.

The Event Calendar is vastly superior, and I was wondering if I can successfully use your plugin in place of the other existing functionality. The existing feature already include and Event tab in the Dashboard sidebar, and the usual places to add event data, etc.

Didn’t know if I install your plugin, will it just “override” the existing functionality, or if there are any steps I need to do to insure compatibility.

Great looking plugin you guys have developed, and hoping it’ll work for my site.

Hi,

Thanks for the interest in our plugins.

We do not have any contact with that theme or the developer for it so it is not clear what will happen. Most likely there features would remain next to ours and it might create conflicts.

You can download the core version of the Events Calendar found for free on WordPress.org: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/

And try it out. That would be the best way to know, if there are issues most likely we would be unable to provide much support as theme compatibility is beyond what we can do.
