Do the latest plugins work together?

I have the option to upgrade to Events Calendar 4.2.5 and Events Calendar Pro 4.2.4. Do these two plugins work together? I thought that they each had to have the same version? Things aren’t working great, so I’d like to update.

Thanks for using our plugins. I can help out here.

The plugins will work together.

It is generally the first two numbers that matter so as long as it is 4.2.x with x being any number they will work together.

There are rare instances where there might be an issue and only if we cannot avoid it, but then the plugin will give a notice for you to upgrade to the latest version for it to work.
