Do I need Filter Bar add-on if I buy Events Calendar PRO ?

Just purchased the upgrade to Pro do I also need the add-on for Filter Bar, to add categories etc ?

You can see the full list of options that both the default Tribe bar and the Filter bar offer at our demo site http://wpshindig.com/events/. Filter Bar is the 2nd bar on the top of the page.

Does this help clarify? Specifically, the categories functionality is part of Filter Bar.
