Do I need Event Rocket anymore?

I am cleaning up my WP control panel and found an old Events Calendar plugin called Event Rocket with the following message:

The Plugin “Event Rocket” appears to be abandoned (updated October 21, 2015, tested to WP 4.3.13).

Is this something I still need to create shortcodes and whatever else it did for my Events Calendar Pro, or can I safely delete it?

You are correct. This awesome plugin is no longer fully compatible since the Events Calendar 4.x+.

As such we recommend removing it as most of its features are now available in some other way shape or form. Mostly through the Events Calendar Pro as you have guessed.
