Displays on blog?

Hi there, I have tried altering settings, but no matter what I do, only three events appear n the sidebar, and not necessarily the three I want. How do I highlight some events? For example there’s a one-off event taking place tonight– how do I make it show up? I’d like some of the more recently added ones to appear too.

Gwen: can I ask you to confirm what your timezone settings are (if you login to your site and visit Settings > General you should see a timezone field).
