    On your demo you have the event text, then a strip underneath that has the details, then another strip that has the venue, then another strip that has the tickets and it all stacks nicely. (see attached)

    On my event (see attached) it has the the text on one side and all other details crammed into a sidebar which makes it very uneven.

    How do I achieve your layout? I’m using Avada (which I understand is the most common theme!)

    It sort of works like that in twentyfourteen

    I would love to help you with this topic.

    The short answer to your question, Avada actually includes a template customization for our plugins.
    This is why the layout is slightly different.

    The good news is that you should have total control over that customization. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

    Basically, by using an Avada Child Theme and using your own /tribe-events/ folder you should be able to tweak things to your liking.

    Thanks Geoff,

    I think I fixed it just by making the sidebar 100% in the CSS and then it all stacks underneath. If i run into problems in other parts of the site I will change it back and follow your instructions!!
