Displaying Events esp recuring events as current month

We have the free version and are thinking of upgrading to the Pro version. the current version has an odd dispaly feature.
Events that Span multiple months are displaying under their start month:
For instance this month is March 2017 but we have events that start July 2016 and end 2018
so in the events it displays for the month of March:
July 2016
Happy hour runs July 2016-jun 2018
January 2016
Another event that starts January 2016 – August 2017
March 2017
March event 1
March event 2.

I would expect it to show.
March 2017
Happy hour
Another event
March event 1
March event 2

It doesn’t currently appear that you have a premium license with us. If this is wrong, and you do have a premium license with us, then apologies for my misunderstanding!
