GuestI’m currently using your free core version to test on my site. I want to have an event page that uses the Masonry Blog style of my theme (The7), but utilizing the date/location filter functions of your plugin. However it doesn’t seem to work. The7 support say that it cannot work with those custom templates. Is there anyway to use your plugin the to get the result I’m looking for?

MemberHi Ashley,
Thanks for reaching out! Sorry to say we don’t provide support for Core -Free- version of our plugin here. This is forum is just for pre-sales questions.
We provide limited support to free users at WordPress.org plugin support forum. Also I’m not familiarized with how The7 theme work, so I can’t even guess on why that’s not working.
Events Calendar Pro comes with a built-in photo view that uses masonry, you can check that here: http://wpshindig.com/events/photo/. So I guess it’s possible to make this work, probably adding some custom code or modifying the events template, again not sure how The7 works so this are just guesses.

GuestThanks for taking the time to reply. Unfortunately the theme developers say it wont work, or to speak to you guys to find a solution. If I bought the pro version I wouldn’t know where to begin customising the code to make this work, so sadly I think I’ll have to keep looking for another way to do my event page (and lower my rating of my theme for being unhelpful 😉 they say it’s meant to be compatible with your plugin, but seems not.)

MemberHey Ashley,
Thanks for the follow-up! Sorry to hear that should work but it didn’t.
You can always buy the PRO version -which includes support-, and we can help you out integrating the calendar with your theme – if that’s possible at all. In case this isn’t possible or require a customization level you are not capable of doing you can always ask for a refund within 30 days of purchase.
If you want to insist with your theme developers -before lowering the rate- you can tell them to contact us at support /at/ theeventscalendar.com to work this out together. We are always willing to work with theme developers, so they can fully support our products.
Hope you can work this out,

GuestThanks again Nico, I’ll certainly pass on your comments to the theme support team. It would be great if you guys had more integration, better than the sum of your parts, so to speak…
