Displaying Distance

Hello Modern Tribe,

I would like to display the actual distance from a point (if specified) in my list of event results. I can display the cost, location, title, etc, but not distance. Is there a particular function I need to do this? I saw some hints of this online but I haven’t been able to find a solution.

Hi Again,

I can help out here, but we are limited in supporting customizations.

The map view does have a script to calculate distance. You might be able to utilize that if you add another way to collect a persons location so you can display it

This is the file that has the functions to determine distance:

plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/Tribe/Geo_Loc.php

That might provide help to get you started, there is not much else we have to provide on this.
