ParticipantHey guys!
We have a page called “dates” which showcases thumbnails with that date’s title, and somehow our pages only show a few events/dates before displaying the “next page” link, kinda odd behaviour, right? On “dates” we want to say dates (say 1.june – 9. june), using only a thumbnail and a date-title. So my question to you folks is, how can I best display dates? We have events on every date, as our project is an overview of local concerts
I tried developing the site based on the list-view, but right now I’m experimenting on a solution based on the month-view, which takes a while as I’m intermediate and am learning by trying:) Thanks in advance!

MemberHi Øystein!
How many events do you have set to show per page under Events > Settings > General Settings? You can increase that number to as many as you’d like in order to show more or fewer events.
However, if you’re basing this template off of Month View, then you should change the settings under Events > Settings > Display > Basic Template Settings. There is an option in there to increase the number of event to display on each day of the month, which by default is 3.
Let me know if this helps. 🙂
Cheers!
GeoffP.S. I’m going to move this thread to our PRO forum. We use the Community Events forum for questions related to our Community Events plugin. 🙂

ParticipantI feel so stupid this works… That’s what 50 hours of intense weekend coding can do to ya, tunnel vision! It’s still a little buggy, but I reckon it’s because it’s based of list view, but I’m currently experimenting with month view. Lemme know if you know a better solution, were looking for this “grid-design” with thumbnails and dates. Thanks for your response, very much appreciated!

MemberSweet, I’m glad that helped! I know exactly how easy it is to miss something when you’ve been working so hard, so no worries at all. 🙂
Yeah, there will definitely be some quirks when attempting to mix the functionality of both List and Month view together. We’re a little limited in how much we can help with custom development, but if you bump into a specific question about how a function works or want to run an idea by us, please feel free to start a new thread and we’d be happy to help as best we can!
Cheers,
