    Hi,

I am using Advanced Custom Fields to display uploaded files for events and this is working fine on an individual Event level as well as in the list view. What I am having trouble with is displaying these same fields on my homepage which is currently using the TEC shortcode widget to pull the next upcoming event.

As the shortcode widget doesn’t support this functionality, how would I go about pulling this one post with associated custom fields?

SIDENOTE: If there is no upcoming event I would like to display the latest past event. I have this working but in a hacky way ands wondering if this is something that the plugin supports

    Thanks!

    Hey Brian,

Thanks for going Pro and welcome to the forums!

And thanks for reaching out with your question.

In the current 4.4 version we have introduced a shortcode for single events. Although I didn’t test is with ACF you can give that one a try. Here are the details:

Let me know if this works for you.

On your sidenote, showing the last past event when there is no upcoming event is not a functionality that currently exists, sorry.

    Cheers,
    Andras

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. Thanks so much!
