Display just date without time

    I’ve found the way to display the time without the date in the tribe_get_start_date() hook but I haven’t been able to figure out how to display the start date without the time.
    I’m sure it’s rather simple but for the life of me I can’t figure it out.

    Any suggestions would be fantastic! Thanks!

    I was able to get it to display the more technical version of the date – “2013-05-30” but I’d like the nicer format of May 30, 2013.

    Wow – feel kinda sheepish about this one – feel free to close it. Found what I needed in the documentation 🙂
