Display issues on front end

The calendar displays completely different when embedded as a shortcode. On the default events page everything seems OK, however when I try to embed it, all elements are all over the place. Please see 2 screenshots. Shortcode used is [tribe_events]. Screenshot 1 is of page with shortcode, and Screenshot 2 is of default Events page. If this issue can’t be fixed, I will have to remove the plugin and ask for a refund!
