Display events on a page, by category

Is there a way/shortcode to output a list of events of a certain category on a page (or in a post)?

We don’t have shortcodes in this plugin, but have you checked out the template tags and what they can do? Seems you could accomplish what you’re going for that way. Those are detailed here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/. Let me know if that’s not what you were looking for.
