Display Event list by Category (i.e. different sports teams schedules)

Hello, I have been trying to find the right plug-in to display all of our upcoming football schedules, we have five different teams from middle school on up through high school varsity we need to display, but want to do so by the specific team. I can set up categories and sub-categories for each team (i.e. 7th for 7th grade) to make sure each new game (event) is correctly configured.

At that point, how would I display a nice, mobile-responsive schedule list of only those specific category events? So on our 7th page, we only show the list of 7th grade games? And so on and so forth for the other 4 teams?

Thanks for your help. A sports schedule per team seems simple enough, but I have been having trouble finding an appropriate plugin to manage. If you can also provide the differences for the pro version in relation to this format, it would be greatly appreciated as well. Thank you!

Thanks for getting in touch–happy to hear that you’re considering our plugins for your site setup here! 🙂 It sounds like the [tribe_events] shortcode in Events Calendar PRO might be just what you’re looking for to display events filtered by category on certain site pages. This shortcode allows you to embed full calendar views (including list views) into any post, page, or custom post type, and you can set attributes to easily limit these views to specific events only.
