Display Event as "Going on Now"

How can I have an event be listed as “Going on Now” and not as “This event has passed”, if someone views an event within the hours the event is taking place?

That’s a great question – however it shouldn’t display this event has passed while it’s still ongoing … can you confirm that your WordPress timezone settings (Settings > General) are correct and perhaps point me to an example of this?

My Time Zone is set as “New York”. The event below shows the scenario I’m talking about. I have made this event for “All Day” September 15 and 16 and at this moment it says “This event has passed.” on the page even though it is still Sept. 16.

OK. It certainly shouldn’t behave in this way, especially if your date/time settings are correct.

What we’ve found occasionally though is that other plugins take it upon themselves to alter the timezone settings and thus throw things out of whack. With that in mind, would you be able to run through our standard troubleshooting steps and see if you can locate any conflicts?
