display calendar on page with custom template?

Hi there, is it possible to display the full width calendar which appears on the ‘events’ url, within my custom page template as i’d like to show this full width calendar alongside other content below it, such as latest news items, blog posts etc?

Hi,

Thanks for using the Events Calendar, I can try to help you out here.

Unfortunately, we do not have a shortcode so all the views are run through the central slug which be default is events.

It maybe possible to move that over to another template, but it could turn into quite a large project. We are starting to work toward adding shortcodes into the plugin, but I do not have a timeline when they might happen.

Thanks, that’s a shame, so at the moment I’ll not be able to achieve it? I guess for now I could use the calendar widget which i’ve managed to insert into my template, but do prefer the larger layout.

Yep that is correct their is no feature in the Event Calendar to achieve it except for by doing it yourself with custom coding. So the widget is the only way to achieve that.
