Disabling links in Google Maps tooltip + shot City / Zip Code

I’m a happy user of your great problem on this site : http://www.rkbe.org/rkbe/events
Only problem with google maps is than when I click on a PIN, it opens a tooltip showing the event/venue details.
I don’t want any clickable link in there plus I do want to show the city/zip code, not only the street and number.
I assume this is doable via specific JS file but need a little help there.

Hi,

Thanks for using our plugins. I can help you get started on this, but I am limited in supporting customizations.

The js file that controls the Map View is found here:

\events-calendar-pro\src\resources\js\tribe-events-ajax-maps.js

The plugin actually uses the minified file here:

\events-calendar-pro\src\resources\js\tribe-events-ajax-maps.min.js

The script is registered in WordPress with this name: tribe-events-pro-geoloc

Let me know if you have any follow up questions, however, as a customization I might not be able to provide much more then this.

and thank you so much for your kind answer. I managed to delete the link via the JS file you told me. But in the adress, city and Zip Code are not shown and I don’t know which vars to add in there. Could you please tell me what to add to the code in order to show a full adress ?

Hi,

I do not have much information on this area as it was not designed to be modified.

I looked through and what we provide in the address is all I saw.

You might be able to backtrack and see about how that information is gathered.

However, I do not have much else to give you for a customization like this unfortunately.
