Disable top tier dropdown menu links with Events

[Disable top tier dropdown menu links]

Hi. When using the events plugin – which i love – and also enabling “Disable top tier dropdown menu links” which i need to do for this particular site, my events page disappears. Even when i change the URL for the events page to “show up” it will not appear. It seems only to want to appear in the top position. How to resolve this problem? Is it a site map issue? Or is this a simple solution within plugin settings?
