Disable Ticket Sales Prior to End Date of Event

How can we set ticket purchases to turn off prior to the end of the event in the calendar settings? Meaning that tickets should stop selling two days prior to end of the event.

The easy way to do this is to use the sale end date option from your Edit ticket menu (within the Edit Event page).
