I will try this out, but I agree with the other poster that this is a big usability problem, especially for mobile but also on larger screens if the map is big, which by default it is. It seems like it could be a relatively simple update — have a checkbox in the settings for disabling/enabling the “scrollWheel” property. Hopefully it’s something that can make a future update.
That’s excellent feedback @Courtney, and we appreciate it. The mobile usability of Maps is something we’ve been thinking about for some time now, and are indeed hoping to improve that aspect of the Map View.
