Disable "Events" from top wp admin menu

G’day guys, been having a hunt around the forum and haven’t really been able to find the answer to my question…
I want to hide the “Events” drop down menu from the Admin bar on the top of your pages, when your logged in.

hunting around the forums, i found that “Adminimize” may be the answer i was looking for,(https://tri.be/support/forums/topic/can-i-disable-the-event-organizer-section-on-all-admin-screens/)
but it seems as though its hidden absolutely everything i want…. except “Events”… there doesn’t seem to be an option to hide that menu…
Can you point me in the direction of where i should go from here please?

or show me another way to hide just the EVENTS drop down menu

Hi!

You should be able to do this by adding the following line of code to your site’s wp-config.php file:

define( 'TRIBE_DISABLE_TOOLBAR_ITEMS', true );

Does that help here?
