Dinner event with multiple attendees per ticket and changing stock level

Hi,

I have created an event with tickets where there are either single or multiple attendees per ticket bought i.e

Table of 12 = 1 ticket sale / 12 attendees
Table of 8 = 1 ticket sales / 8 attendees
Single ticket sale = 1 attendee

Does that make sense ??

What I need to do is if they purchase a ticket for 12 people then the stock level is reduced by 12 and the same for a table of 8 etc, etc this will mean that the stock level is set at 200 and the 200 is the number of people allowed to attend the event in terms of seats available.

But I have no idea on how to achieve this ???

Can you help and advise of a solution?

I would love to help you with this topic.

The best way to achieve something like that would be to use a third-party WooCommerce plugin that handles Product quantities rules. The following plugin would have been perfect: http://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-incremental-product-quantities/

It lets you set the increments of quantity on each product individually.
But it has not been updated in a while and is not compatible with the latest version of WooCommerce.

But I am sure you can find something similar and compatible out there 🙂
