GuestI have three pages that each have a calendar using The Events Calendar plugin. Each calendar has its own event category.
Is it possible to have the weekly view on two of the pages, and the monthly view on one of the pages?
I only see one option for views in the plugin settings, but that changes all calendars to the same view.

ParticipantHey Dan,
Thanks for reaching out.
You say in your post, “I have three pages that each have a calendar using The Events Calendar plugin.”
Can you share links to each of the three pages, if you don’t mind? I’m just interested in seeing how you have this configured, because our plugins by default do not support multiple events pages.
This fact—that multiple events pages are not supported by default—ties into my answer to your main question here: no, you cannot have multiple “default views” for separate pages at this time.
Our next plugin update will introduce a new shortcode that allows for embeds of full calendar views, so something like this will be trivially possible. This update is coming in the first week or two of October, if all goes to plan.
Until then, what you are trying to do here is not possible with our plugins. 🙁
Sincerely,
GeorgeSeptember 26, 2016 at 5:18 pm #1168966Dan
GuestTwo of the pages simply go to the event category pages. These are using the weekly view from the plugin settings.
/events/category/tennis/
/events/category/fitness/We iframed the third into a page last year (although iframing is not ideal) and removed the navigation, so just the calendar appeared in the frame. We only had this one page using events last year, so we didn’t have to worry about the settings being different for another page.
Will this new update allow us to add a weekly view to one page and a month view to another? That would be incredibly helpf

ParticipantThanks for elaborating here, Dan. I’m sorry for the workarounds you currently have to use, and for the fact that multiple separate views cannot be used at this time.

☝️ Yes, the new forthcoming shortcode will exactly this sort of thing. We’re stoked to share it with the world!
