    Dear Modern Tribe team,

    Question:
How do I get a different menu on my events page than on my landing page (home page)?

    Description of situation:
I’m setting up a website where I’m using your wonderful plugin Events Calendar PRO. My site consists of a landing page with four different fields and a calendar page with the month view of Events Calendar PRO.

The landing page has a menu witch is linked to specific id-tags (e.g. #id) for each field in order to get the “smooth scroll” functionality, and the calendar page adapts this same menu. Here is the problem, when the same menu are used at the calendar page as the landing page the “id links” get useless because these doesn’t refer to anything on the calendar page.

I would like to have another menu for the calendar page which links back to the landing page’s different fields.

    Landing page: http://www.seasidegallery.se/
    Calendar page: http://www.seasidegallery.se/events/

    Thank you in advance!

    /Alexander

    Hi Alexander,

Thanks for reaching out! What a great question, let me try to give you some ideas on this.

You could set up the full URLs for the menu, so instead of only adding “#whatson” you could enter http://www.seasidegallery.se/#whatson and then it would take you to the landing page from the calendar as well.

I see you are using a page builder and presumably you used that to do the landing page. If that page builder allows you to define a different menu for the page, then you can use the regular menu for the calendar page, and set up a different menu for the landing.

Let me know if this helps.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hi András,

    Thank you for your answer.

I used the second thing you suggested and it worked perfectly.
