Different email for each ticket type

    Hi, we are using events tickets plus with WooCommerce to sell tickets to training courses.

    When someone buys one of our courses, we’d like to send an email relevant to that course (or ticket that they’ve bought). typically we might include a link to pre-course reading or confirmation of course content and some other text.

    So, I’m not bothered at this stage about the formatting and theme and the way the email looks but can you tell me how I might go about changing the content of each email associated with the purchase ..

    Hi Colin,

    Good question! While it’s not a feature right out of the box, I would imagine you could customize the email on a per-event basis.

    First off, the email.php template is what you will want to customize. See our Themer’s Guide for more info on template overrides.

    From there, I might try a couple different options

    • Use conditional statements. You can use event categories to write a conditional statement that sows one link or another based on what category the event is categorized by.
    • Use additional fields. Events Calendar PRO includes additional fields for events. You could add that to the email template using this function.
