    Hi,

We are looking to use your plugin on a new project but first have a few questions if that’s ok.

I think we would be using “Non-Pattern-Based Event Series” of reoccurring events to create a series of events that do not follow a Patten. I would then be creating some kind of custom widget that would sit on the main event showing the different dates and these would need to click through to that event.

If we then go into the different events in the series can we then edit their details and location and still keep them in the series? I hope this makes sense!

Good evening Jack and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

If we then go into the different events in the series can we then edit their details and location and still keep them in the series? I hope this makes sense!

By default, all recurring events share details and location.

You can still edit those on a per event basis.
However, doing so will “break the event” from the series.

In other words, it will still show the information correctly, but it will no be a standalone event (no longer part of the series).

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
