Design issues and cross browser stuff

Just a few things I’ve been noticing in checking my site I’m in the process of developing:

The list view is very nice in Safari and chrome but in firefox the images are full size. (see screen shots)

Another issue is the lining up of the event name and the address below (see mobile screenshot)

Just small things, but it would be great not to have to go though fixing for my clients.

I’m also having issues with the date picker (I did open a different task for that, but not sure I explained myself properly)

When searching a date with no events, it needs to say ‘no events listed message ‘, but instead it gives all events in the full date range covered by the site.

I went ahead and tested http://cdw.thedesignweb.com.au/events/list/ on Firefox and I am unable to reproduce the issue. Did you change anything since you posted this thread by any chance ?

For this point, I am not exactly sure what you mean by that. Could you expand on this ?

How would you expect the display to be ? Which mobile device are you using ?

In any case, some @media CSS rule will probably fix this once I know a bit more.

Hi Geoff,

I included some screenshots. I thought that safari and chrome are the way
you intended. They look really good, so see that screenshot. Image is
aligned left. (But actually just looking at your demo here:
http://wpshindig.com/events/list/?undefined=Select+an+Item
most images take the full width, only 1 is aligned left?

Have a look at the other screen shot ‘mobile’ it shows the grey block with
address not lining up.

I see what you mean now (image not fully aligned).
I would like to help fix that AND the grey block / alignment issue on mobile.

Unfortunately, it looks like the events Calendar is either gone or has been moved on your website. Could you provide me with the proper URL or reactivate the plugin ?

Thank you for your answer.

I am mostly happy that your client opted for the Photo view and that they are satisfied with it.

I am sorry to hear that you have been bumping into a few issues lately.
Of course, we will be happy to help you with each one of them.

My recommendation would be to simply open a thread per issue (including fixing the display for your other client).

This way we can work together to get to the bottom of each of these.
