Demo or Example of user submitted events

I’m considering buying pro, and community, solely to have users submit their events on my site. I was considering Gravity Forms, but it’s possible this is better. I’d like to demo an entire submission from both the user and admin experience to see how they work. thanks!

Hi Melissa,

I know I’m a little biased 🙂 but I don’t recommend using Gravity Forms with Event Calendar PRO. People have made it work, but we also get a lot of users having trouble integrating the two, and it will be smoother if you used Community instead.

We do have a demo of the user submission form at http://demo.tri.be/events/community/add/ The rest of that site is rather outdated, however, so please keep that in mind. We also have some screen shots on the bottom right of the Community Events page at https://theeventscalendar.com/wordpress-community-events/. We don’t have a way for you to demo the admin side of things, sorry. But as you’ll see in the screenshots that all happens under Events –> Settings within the dashboard. Thanks so much. The demo is really helpful. I would use this in lieu of gravity forms, not with. What I’d love to see is something that also includes payment or featured event options like here:

Our plugins are always growing and improving and we do our best to fulfill popular feature requests. If you decide to get our Community Plugin, head on over to the Community Thread and post on the Feature Request thread! We always like to hear user’s thought and ideas.

If you’re interested in payment options, you might consider our Eventbrite add on or our up and coming WooTickets add on. Both of those feature nifty payment and registration options.
