deleted google calendar events still showing up?

We deleted an event from our google calendar yesterday (1/11) and the ical feed has run several times since, but the deleted event from our google calendar still exists on the site?

The events is as follows:

National Jr. Honor Society Induction Ceremony
January 12 @ 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Hi,

Thanks for using the iCal Importer. I can help out here.

I am not sure that the iCal Importer can correctly detect if an event has been deleted and to remove it from the WordPress install.

Did this ever work before for you? Did you see it in any of our documentation that is should do this?

I know that if you delete an event in WordPress it should not reimport the event from the ical feed.

I do not think it can do it in reverse of that.

Let me know and we can go from here.

I can’t recall if this has worked in the past or not. I just assumed this would be the case that if an event did not exist in the ical file it would be removed from wordpress if it exists.

Is this a planned feature or is this function not something that is going to happen?

Hi,

From asking around it has not been a feature of the plugin and there are no plans to add it. Not sure how feasible it would be to add it either.
