Deleted an Event but the Venue still in Database?!

When I have one Event for one venue and I deleted this event the venue is still in the post table of wordpress. I use an slider for my startpage and for this slider i can choise for any post that the post is feautured. Because I deleted the event (see on top), it was feautured for the slider, only the empty venue will show in the slider. Hope you understand my problem?! It want be better, when I deleted the last event for an venue, the venue will deleted too, in other words, I don’t need empty venues.

Hi Michael,

I don’t think we would modify this functionality because multiple events can use the same venue so we wouldn’t want to delete a venue used by another event.

I mean an venue *without* event. This venue is still in the DB.

Hi Michael,

Venues are treated separately from events so if you add a venue, even via the Add Event screen, you need to delete the Venue via Events > Venues.

Hi Michael,

It should be there. What version of the The Events Calendar and Events Caledar PRO are you running? You might try deactivating all other plugins because there may be one that is interfering with the display of the Venues menu item for you. Let me know.

Sorry, I am a littel blind. I look all time the menu in the topbar of WP,
not in the regular menu on the left 🙁 That’s it, close this thread, better delet him 😉
