Dan
ParticipantI would like to direct people to the main calendar of my Website (http://queencitypride.ca/events/) as it will be a useful asset to my community and it makes sense to have people land on the main calendar rather than a specific event page.
To make sure things look clean and professional when sharing this page on Facebook and other sites, I would like to define the Facebook Open Graph Image associated with the main calendar page. I’ve searched all over the Events Calendar PRO settings, support forums, and knowledgebase and I can’t find any information about doing this.
Normally, someone would define the Feature Image of their WP Page or use a 3rd party plugin to define the Open Graph image but because the /events/ page isn’t a REAL WordPress page, these are not options.
Is there another way to define the Open Graph Image for the main calendar page?

– This is not a conflict issue with other plugins. This is not a theme issue with my current theme. It’s a setting that cannot be accessed because the /events/ page is generated by TECP and not an editable page in WordPress.July 6, 2017 at 4:32 pm #1317164Victor
MemberHello Dan!
Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me try to help you with that.
If you want to add the meta tag for the Facebook image in the main calendar, then you’ll have to make some customization of the header.php template file from your theme. I found this guide that might be helpful. I’m sure there are others, but I noticed this one covers a couple of different ways to do it.
If you want to restrict the addition of the meta tag with some custom coding to only the main calendar, the tribe_is_event_query() helper function could be of help. Or you want to limit to the map view then the tribe_is_month() is also good.
I hope that helps! Let me know if you have other questions.
