ParticipantHey Guys, a couple of things….
One. On the EC settings page I have the ‘Default view of the events’ set to calendar but when I click the ‘View all’ link on the sidebar mini calendar I get a view of the events list. Any ideas?
Two. Until you add previous and next month links to the mini cal I would like have a ‘next month’ link on in the sidebar. I’ve done this before with your guidance but forgot what I did and can’t find our conversation on it in the forum. You can see it here if you need to… http://knittingtemptations.com/temptingtidbits/
Thanks, Tom

MemberHey Tom. Thanks for the note here. On these points:
1. Weird; are you running 2.0.4 for both releases? I just tried this on the tagged 2.0.4 code and it worked without issue; when I had the default view set to “calendar,” clicking to view all from the calendar widget took me to the calendar view itself…
2. No problem on this second point. We should be able to help you out here. Let me get Jonah to take a look when he hits the forums next later this evening.

ParticipantHey Tom, it looks like you’ve got both these issues figured out. Am I wrong? Let me know if you need anything else with this.

ParticipantHey Jonah. No, neither issue has been resolved yet, and to answer Rob’s question; yes, I’m running 2.0.4 for both plugins. But I don’t think this is going to be a big deal because I’m linking directly to the calendar page. My second concern though I would like to take care of… how do I add a ‘Next Month’ link to the side bar’s mini cal? Thanks.

ParticipantHey Tom, my bad, I thought the link you provided was for your current site…
To add a Next Month link just create an override for table-mini.php (place a copy in an ‘events’ folder in your theme) and then after the closing table tag add the following: http://pastebin.com/GTymAK5b

ParticipantThat did it, quick and easy, thanks Jonah. That should be it for this project, the new site is almost ready to go live.
I would like to request that you consider adding ‘Next Month” and ‘Previous Month’ links that would change the display of mini cal to a future upgrade. I’ve used ECP for two client projects with another one coming up, and so far all have wanted to be able to navigate the mini cal.
Thanks again. ECP is an awesome plugin that I look forward to working with more in the future. And I appreciate the great support I’ve received from both you and Rob.
Take care, Tom

MemberHey Tom: awesome to hear this did the trick. Really appreciate your words of support and I know the rest of the team here does too.
As for adding next/previous to the mini call: we definitely have this in the works. A number of folks have requested it so far and as a result this will be making it in somewhere during the 2.1 lifecycle. If you throw a vote for it into the Features Request thread (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/events-calendar-pro-feature-requests/) it’d also certainly carry some weight.
Let us know what else we can do as you keep using the plugin. Thanks again for your support.
