MemberThanks for following up Brad!
Sorry I meant I want the list view
Not sure I’m missing something but, I see that list view is indeed the default for your site now β http://warrioruniversity.org/events/

ParticipantYou are correct for the events page. However, I want the landing page with the events to be the list view.
Am i missing a option to check?

MemberThanks for clarifying you were talking about the landing page Brad, sorry for the confusion I thought you were referring to the event page.
Can you please let me know how you are setting the calendar in the homepage? There are a couple of ways to do this β How to Make Your Calendar Your Siteβs Home Page, and the fix might depend on which one you are using.
Please let me know about it,
Best,

ParticipantYeah thanks for being patient with my confusing posts.
I am using a shortcode that’s set on the landing home page. I am using the short code: [tribe_events]
February 16, 2017 at 8:06 am #1238628Nico
MemberNo problem Brad! Can you try changing it to:
[tribe_events view="list"]By default it should be pulling whatever view is set as default, I will run some tests on my local install to check if there’s a bug with how this is working. But for now forcing a view might work. For more information about the shortcode parameters check out this article β Embedding Calendar Views with the [tribe_events] Shortcode
Please let me know if this works,

ParticipantI did use that short code with the clarifier list in it and that worked.
Thank you!February 20, 2017 at 11:25 am #1242336Nico
MemberStoked to hear about this Brad! Thanks for confirming π
I could find an existing bug report for this (shortcode not using the default view when no view parameter is passed). I’ve linked this thread with the report so we can let you know when this is fixed and released. In any case it sounds like passing the view parameter fixes this for now.

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
