Default Message when No Upcoming Events

Hello. Is there a way to display a default message whenever there are not any upcoming events scheduled? As of now, we have a heading for our widget called “Upcoming Events”, but the area below the heading is just an empty space whenever we don’t have any future events scheduled. It would be great if there was a way for it to show some default text in that empty area that says “There are no events scheduled at this time”. Please advise if this is possible.

Just to set expectations, as you might know, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues.

We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.

With that in mind, I believe you could achieve this through a simple template customization.
You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

This week’s widget displays exactly that type of message.
You could literally “steal” code from there in your customization.
